Escape into a world of intrigue and mystery with the perfume, "The Yellow Wallpaper." This perfume invites you to delve into the psychological depths of the classic tale. Let the intriguing blend of notes transport you to a realm where the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Uncover the hidden truths that lie within the walls of "The Yellow Wallpaper."

Notes of The Yellow Wallpaper: dirt, earthy moss, old paper, powdery amber, musk (vegan), tuberose, dried flowers, cotton blossom, jasmine absolute, tobacco absolute*, cedar, heliotrope

*Contains tobacco absolute, may contain trace amounts of nicotine.

This scent is housed in a vintage inspired 1 ounce (30ml) bottle. The back of the label has a custom illustration by the wonderful artist Rachel Allen. The illustration reflects elements of the story beautifully, inspired by the classic gothic short story that delves into the complexities of the female psyche, and the death of a woman's identity after having children. The death of self.

This fragrance is part of a collection of fragrances inspired by literature. This is my interpretation of the scent of The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. It should be noted many artistic liberties were taken.
Made with natural essential oils, absolutes, and high quality synthetic aroma oils. Cruelty, paraben, phthalate, and trend free. Vegan. Only sourced from suppliers committed to sustainability.

    A few things to note:
-When buying perfume, what you smell in the bottle will be different than what it smells like on. The various different perfume materials will interact differently to each individual wearer's natural body chemistry. Always smell a perfume on the skin not just in the bottle.
-Also in that vein, the perfume will smell different as it evolves and dries down on the skin. The initial scent will not be the same after the dry down.
-Always test a perfume on a small patch of skin, if irritation or allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use.
